If you are a woman and don’t have an obvious ailment (broken or bleeding) Do Not waste your time here. They will Medically Gaslight you & they are proficient in Medical Misogyny. I have been battling Endometriosis and have now have debt with no answers. I was told by ER staff as well as my Primary on multiple occasions that my “labs were NORMAL” I’ve had CT scans and Radiology work ups done that were blatantly neglected and ignored. I took all my results to a different doctor out of Sonora and shocker, my labs were NOT normal and I had an endometrioma on my ovary. My bowels are fused together and several other organs are now compromised directly due to their neglect and lack of compassion. The Gynos all the way to the Radiologists failed me. In addition I had a lump in my breast that I was told to ignore by my primary, it is now the size of a golf ball and I need surgery. Another surgery I will need as a direct result of medical gaslighting and medical neglect of female patients which evidently is a systemic and cultural problem at Adventist Sonora.

I received great care and sympathy when I visited the emergency room Saturday afternoon to get a piece of metal out of me eye, I ended up with an abrasion on my cornea.

I have been locked out of my Adventist patient portal while it was transitioning to the new Epic system. After days of error messages the system then required me to reset my password, but the codes they 'sent' to do that never arrive. The help line number has a message saying they will call back and they never did. I've left messages with Sonora Adventist Administration because Adventist Corporate has no contact numbers. All their receptionist operators haven't either. Being locked out of my health information for a week and counting is a health and safety issue. Shame on Adventist for not reaching out to patients to provide help because we sure can't reach you!

So the nurses were amazing with my second kid. During covid everything was weird with my first.my baby came into this world fighting and the nurses were cold.. But come 2025 the staff I had was professional, helpful, and very welcoming to my second baby. Oh and you get your own room, the privacy and space is lovely.<br>I do want to warn people that during my second birth I did a vaginas delivery, my placenta did not come out within 5-10 minutes like the dr wanted it to and so she was getting ready to bring fentynly to do a manual scoop of my placenta. I felt utterly defeated. Luckily a minute or so after she said that my placenta did come out so it was a huge relief. I remeber reading and watching videos where women have said it can take up to an 30 mins to an hour plus. If youre doing at home birth you'll want to consider going to the hospital if it hasn't come out after 4+ hours. Now I could be wrong about the times here so do your own research. But I well know that 5-10 minutes is hardly any time before jumping to manual scooping. So if any of you come across this situation educate your partner and k ow you have the right to say NO. I wish I could go back in time and speak up for myself but I was so tired to say anything and just felt so defeated and drained after my birth, so it is important to have someone advocate for you incase you experience the wave of exhaustion after birth.
