My review is based upon my interactions with the new Administrator, the Social Worker, Physical Therapist, and Business Manager. ((For me the review of the actual nurses will have to wait until I see how patient care is actually going to be directed!)) The new Administrator is working to improve patient care as a mind care unit. The nurse CNA & CMA are doing an adequate job. The Social Worker is doing a very good job. The concierge is doing a great job of multi tasking. My go to is the Business Manager, Deidre who is always there to help with my accounting needs and information to help me better understand the business of me overseeing my wife's paperwork. The areas I see for improvement: Housekeeping, the floors are soiled in my wife's room & the hallways. Nursing: Have nurses better understand how to approach residents with patient care needs and to know family members are part of the care plan in the whole picture of resident care. I see the director and assistant director of nursing with a positive mind care approach. This should be instilled better in their subordinates.

On a Sunday, the staff was very helpful and available for assistance for my ex-wife. I found that to be a very positive aspect. I wish there was more room for residence to have a more apartment like setting. That’s my only negative thought.
