Understaffed, gossiping, doesnt answer telephones. Don't leave messages regarding important information. They neglect the patients here. Perform less than the basics. Do not send your family here. Its all for looks and thats it. Looks great. Isn't actually a great place.

I spent a couple of weeks here after leaving the hospital. The staff were all so kind and caring. I felt very safe there. The Physical Therapy was excellent and very useful. I would have given them five stars, but I'm a vegetarian. I don't think the chef had any clue about vegetarian meals especially including sources of protein.

Expect to wait 20 minutes or longer for an aide to help you use the bathroom. (Skilled nursing.) My mom spent almost a month in this facility. It might have been all right except for the long wait to go to the bathroom, which was a HUGE problem. When my sister and I were visiting, aides took 20 or more minutes to help her to the bathroom. On just one occasion, someone came in 13 minutes while I was visiting. My mom reported that someone came in three minutes one day and she was thrilled. She also reported having to wait almost an hour at other times. I spoke to Dominic after about a week and he seemed upset that she had to wait 20 minutes. He said they try to get to the room within 2 minutes but if they're busy or can take up to 5 minutes; he also said it would never take close to an hour. (We would have been grateful for 5 minutes.) He said he was going to talk to staff but nothing changed. The PT and OT staff were good, the aides seemed pretty good too, for the most part. One nurse (I really want to say her name but I won't) regularly said, "I didn't do anything wrong" before my mom could even finish talking. We had a big problem when the nurse claimed that there was only one dose in a 4 dose pen, so we needed to refill it 3 weeks early. I talked to the pharmacist and she said the medication did not come in single doses. Ever. But the nurse had thrown away the box and the pen and swore that she "didn't do anything wrong" when I spoke to her on the phone. My mom reported that when the nurse was giving her the medication she used more than one needle and kept twisting the pen, which is how you load the medicine. One more thing, the room could have been more cheerful. They had one wall painted a dark color with a big white blob on it. The recliner was uncomfortable but we just didn't sit in it. Anyway, they need more aides. I don't blame the aides, it's the facility's fault for not having enough staff. Until they fix that, I urge people to find a more responsive facility. Do not recommend.

My mom was in rehab at Advanced several months ago after a difficult recovery in the hospital from surgery for a hip fracture. If you have to go to rehab, this is where you want to be. It feels like a hotel. You have a private room and bathroom. My mom had physical therapy six days a week. The food was good. I appreciated that they brought her to the dining room for meals. Must most importantly, the staff is professional, responsive, and compassionate. The occupational and physical therapists, Becky and Matt, are amazing. The nurses and nursing assistants are kind and caring. Robert and Alina were especially kind to me during some rough patches in my mom’s recovery. And the discharge coordinator, Amanda, was incredibly helpful. My mom is now, dare I say, thriving in Assisted Living. Advanced helped her get there.

Attentive staff and clean facility. This is where you want your loved one to heal and strengthen before being able to go home. Ali, our weekend therapist, was very knowledgeable and comprehensive in his approach. Diana and Juana were especially helpful whenever we needed anything. Couldn’t be happier in this challenging season with Advanced Health Care. Thank you for going above and beyond!
