I spent 10 weeks at AHCS and I can tell you it is the best place next to home. The staff is wonderful and kind from the hall CNA's to the registered nurses. The food was outstanding. I never had the same meal twice during my 10 week stay. The physical therapists really know what they are doing, having had many years experience. I can't say enough about the facility. It is spotless due to the daily housekeeping. There are no foul odors or smells due to the cleanliness. I would highly recommend it to anyone who needs a rehab stay. Jerry Goetz

After being released from the hospital after a fall in her home, our 95-year old mother required around-the-clock care and daily physical therapy. Advanced Health Care of Scottsdale was an excellent choice for mom. Upon arriving she just wasn't herself, but the wonderful staff at AHC slowly made her feel comfortable and allowed her to rest when she needed it and began to immerse her into the social and PT activities as she got stronger. Having lived independently for the past 10 years and now requiring assistance with the most basic life skills was tough for her and her family. I'm pleased to say mom's '"graduated" to her Assisted Living Facility now thanks to the staff, nurses, and doctors at Advanced Health Care of Scottsdale.

I don’t often give a five star review. The staff, therapists, nurses and doctors all contributed to my successful rehabilitation. Are they perfect? Nope, These people are incredibly compassionate. Every action - from changing my dressings to strengthening my body to giving me encouragement came with good intentions, grace and a good dose of humour. Don’t come here if you review restaurants for a living. Do come here if you want to feel seen and heard as a team of wonderful health care professionals guide you back from the brink so that you may return to your life and be able to leave a five star review.

I am writing to express my deep appreciation and strong recommendation for the Advanced Health Care physical therapy team who cared for my mother, Sandy Smith, from February 28 to March 28, 2025. As her son and frequent visitor during her stay, I had the opportunity to witness the exceptional level of care, attention, and kindness extended to her throughout her recovery. From the moment we arrived, we were met with a warm, welcoming response. The room was not only very nice but incredibly comfortable—truly a home away from home. The call buttons worked instantly and reliably, and every staff member greeted us with a smile. Their attentiveness went above and beyond expectations: they were always there to help, even in difficult or embarrassing situations, and always did so with grace and compassion. Staff members frequently offered to warm meals that weren’t quite right, helped with personal needs promptly and respectfully, and took care of laundry—folded and neatly put away. The facility itself was spotless, with the cleanliness and orderliness of a five-star hotel. There were many food options to choose from, and every hallway exchange came with a friendly hello that made the environment feel safe and warm. The therapy staff in particular were incredible—knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely sympathetic to my mother’s condition and emotional state. They helped her make measurable progress while maintaining her comfort and confidence. They even drove her to and from outside appointments and checkups, ensuring continuity and ease throughout her treatment. If I could give ten stars, I would. This team took outstanding care of my mother, and I am forever grateful. I am an RN caregiver and my client needed IV therapy for a week. I was delightfully surprised with the welcome we received. The care was friendly and attentive. Details and questions were handled well and the over-all experience was great. Therapists were excellent and my client enjoyed the meals. My only suggestion is to get more comfortable chairs in the rooms, so that a patient can sleep in the chair, as my client prefers. The wooden arms are quite uncomfortable.
