I give high recommendations to this place! I thank this place on behalf of them caring for grandmother who have been ill and for the staff not only caring for her but keeping her spirits uplifted. The staff here are so loving and so friendly and really seem to care about their patients. They work so hard. Sometimes whenever I come to visit my grandma, sometimes I get happy just to see the staff! They are just so positive and so work professional! Please let this facility win an AWARD! My honest review of San Bruno Skilled Nursing. My mom recently completed a rehab stay (3 months) at San Bruno Skilled Nursing Facility, and we are very grateful for the care she received during a critical stage of her recovery. When she arrived, she had significant challenges following a traumatic brain injury, including aphasia, difficulty swallowing, and limited mobility. During her time there, we saw meaningful progress. She went from needing a PEG tube to eating regular food again, regained strength in her speech, and progressed to walking without assistance and even managing stairs. These were huge milestones for our family. The rehabilitation team — physical therapy, occupational therapy, and especially speech therapy — played a major role in this progress. Their consistency and expertise truly made a difference. We are especially thankful for the therapists who pushed her while also being patient and encouraging. We also encountered many compassionate staff members who treated her with kindness and respect, which meant a lot to us. That said, there were times when we experienced a few hiccups. We experienced occasional delays in response times, and situations where basic care needs could have been handled more promptly. I did bring this up to they management team and concerns were quick addressed. I share that feedback honestly, but also with understanding, because we could see how hard many of the caregivers were working. Overall, we are thankful for the role San Bruno Skilled Nursing Facility played in my mom’s recovery — especially the strength of the rehab team. They helped her make real, meaningful progress, and for that we are very grateful.

My 90-year-old mom spent her final 10.5 weeks at this facility. The staff consistently showed kindness, warmth, and compassion—it truly made a difference during a very difficult time. As a nurse, I had high expectations for her care. The nursing team was open to feedback and followed through on what they promised, which I deeply appreciated. The physical therapy team worked diligently with all the residents. A special shoutout to Leo for helping my mom walk again after her hospitalization—that meant so much to us. The facility is also very clean—noticeably different from others nearby. I’m deeply grateful to Andrew, Leo, Sauwi, Ruth, Natalie, Christina, Arthur, Vangie, Marcel, and Ryan. Your care, compassion, and respect gave my mom dignity and brought comfort to our family. That is something I will always carry with me.
