A Hug Away Healthcare is a black owned woman healthcare business, that has a compassion for their patients and staff. This business started by two sisters, coming together with a vision over 15 years ago. The supervisor Jessica L., and Assistant Director of Nursing Karen K. are very caring. I have witnessed compassion, professionalism, kindness, and dedication from the staff while working here for a short time. A Hug Away healthcare offers a variety, of different services such as the following. Home health, hospice, infusion therapy, sitter companionship, durable medical equipment, wound care, physical therapy, occupational therapy, spiritual counseling and speech therapy.

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing! Dr. Marisa and her team truly cares about the patients, staff, and partners they work with daily. It has been a blessing that our paths crossed. Her leadership is reflected in her staff as well. I had the pleasure of working with Ms. Marchelle and she was always very professional and eager to help with anything I needed assistance with. My first encounter with knowing about this company came after looking them up after a bad experience with your Driver #61 red car on the road this afternoon. Not only did he cut me off really badly, but then when I passed him later on he flicked me off with his middle finger. This is absolutely appalling to have an employee like this serve as a representative of your company, especially when your company provides care to patients and families. Just seeing someone behave like this means I couldn't even imagine using your services and having someone like him treat my family member. I would really appreciate this being looked into. Edit: In response to the follow-up, yes this did happen on 9/23/25 between 2pm-3pm in the afternoon. It was car #61 from your company, which listed the website on it as well.

Red car #57 drives like an absolute nightmare. She almost hit me over 10 times because she was texting with her phone to her face, and flicking people off when she’d pass them going at least 20 over the speed limit. No one with that kind of attitude on the road should be in this industry. I would never let someone like this around my family. I wouldn’t trust this company if that’s the kind of people they employ. She showed she has zero patience or compassion with the way she drove. To put other drivers in THAT MUCH DANGER when they’re driving home after work is outrageous. Someone isn’t going to make it home one day because of her carelessness. Edit: So she was driving like a bat out of hell just to get home??? Not even to get to a 911 client??? I have live photos that show her flying past me. Good for her for getting home safely with the way she was driving. Absolutely horrible driver and human being to be flipping yard crews off for being parked and having cones out.
