“I volunteered here on Friday. The facility was very clean and the staff seemed very competent and knew the residents well. Sherri was great! She provided clear directions on what to do so I could make the most out of my time volunteering. The residents were nice as well. I would definitely volunteer here again.”
“My dearest friend was in the Memory Care unit and received excellent care. The workers treated her like family. Her son and I visited daily and were always happy with the care she received. The workers there are wonderful caring people. I would highly recommend Gardens of Greenridge.”
“I have been to Linwood twice. Each time I had a great experience. The nurses and CNA’s are the greatest. All of the staff from house keeping, physical and occupational therapy to admin are so caring and can’t do enough for you. If I need rehab again, this is where I want to be.”

About these figures
Computed on October 22, 2026 from the 19 communities listed in Scranton, 451 public family reviews on Google, Yelp and MyLivingChoice, state licensing records and, for nursing homes, CMS Care Compare. The best-rated list ranks communities by average family rating weighted by how many families have reviewed each one, so a 4.9 from three reviews does not outrank a 4.7 from two hundred. No community pays to appear in the best-rated list or in these figures; sponsored and partner listings in the directory results are marked as such. Figures refresh as listings and reviews change.
