Welcome to The Cottages at Golden Acres, our Senior Living campus delivers great dining, local transportation, and a wonderful activity schedule!

Staying connected with friends and loved ones has been shown to promote health and healing. To help, we provide high-speed wireless Internet accesses to all residents, family members and doctors.

Our secure network allows residents to stay in touch with family members and friends through email or video conference. It also allows them to stay up-to-date on what is happening around the world by browsing the Internet. Visiting family members can also connect to work and email by using our free wireless access.

•    Housekeeping staff clean the apartments once every 2 weeks. There are 2 laundry rooms on site for residents to use on their own, or we can take care of it.  Just let us know what you would prefer!

•    Our van transports residents to medical appointments three days a week.  On the other two days, we use it to shuttle groups to local casinos, shopping centers and churches, depending on the time of year and mood of the residents.  Our downtown location makes transportation to most places quick and easy.

  On Site Care and Plenty To Do

•    Some of our residents contract directly with home health agencies to provide on-site 24 hours a day to help residents with bathing, grooming, taking medications and eating.
•    All of our exceptional staff members work together to create a home that is warm and inviting. We hope you’ll also notice the pride and care we take in keeping everything sparkling clean. We want you to know that this is someplace special and we’ll do our best to help you feel that way, every day.
•    Local senior community centers, as well as activities that appeal to seniors like lawn bowling, museums, and a library, abound within a few blocks.
•    Our full-time activity staff provides many opportunities for residents to be engaged and entertained throughout each day. They lead cooking classes, offer exercise activities, and play games with groups of residents.
•    We also have musicians, lecturers and religious groups visit on a weekly basis to entertain, engage and enlighten.
•    In the spacious common area we have gigantic television for group sports and movie watching. There you will find Netflix, and a large selection of movies to suit every taste and interest.
