The Kang Family has served the elderly community of Sacramento for over 20 years. In 2000, Caroline and Francis Kang opened their first board and care, Laguna Park RCFE in Elk Grove. They wanted to provide a comfortable elderly home focused on activities and quality care. The Elk Grove community took note of their passion and in the next 5 years, the hardworking team opened additional homes throughout Elk Grove. As the business expanded, their adult children, all whom specialize in either health or nursing, opened fifteen additional homes focusing on professional management, active living and quality care. In 2012, Maria Kang, received the Elk Grove’s Mayor Volunteer award for her work in the community. In 2015, our facility, Comforts of Home RCFE was given the Sacramento Compassion Award.
