Respite Care is a great option for many reasons: an individual is recuperating from an illness or injury, a caregiver is unavailable, a senior may want to "try out" the community for a few nights, or a medical professional believes that observation from 24-hour staffing may offer a safer recovery from an injury, surgery, or treatment.
For any situation we offer the perfect solution. For just a few days, or for a few weeks, our guests enjoy a furnished suite which includes telephone and TV services. They can take advantage of the programming that offers varied activities, from chorus, to book club, to walking.
The program also provides three delicious and nutritious meals a day, as well as daily snacks. Our caring, sensitive caregivers may assist you with medication and personal care if desired. Scheduled local transportation to medical appointments or personal errands is also available during your stay with us at Parsons House.
