Juliette Fowler Communities is a faith-based, nonprofit organization that was founded in 1892 to serve children, youth and elders. Uniquely intergenerational, Fowler still serves young and older from the same east Dallas location. Older adults can choose apartments in various settings which include independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing and rehabilitation, and affordable senior housing. Children are served through our foster care and adoption services and The Ebby House helps young women at risk for homelessness who have experienced abuse, neglect or abandonment.

Independent Living

Independence is grand especially with the little extras that make it so much easier to enjoy. Juliette Fowler makes independent living stress free with beautiful, pet-friendly apartments, no maintenance worries and all utilities included.

Because you deserve a new home as unique as you are, we offer lots of independent living floor plans to choose from. There's one that's perfect for you and the way you love to live. Monthly rental fees start at $2,050 with no large buy-in and include a dining service allowance.

Because Fowler offers a continuum of care, you have convenient access to other living options including assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing as you need them. As an independent living resident, you can take advantage of short-term rehabilitation and out-patient rehabilitation services after a hospital stay or whenever they're a help to you.

Assisted Living

Sometimes all it takes is a little help to keep things moving. At Juliette Fowler Communities, helping hands are all around when you choose Assisted Living. We offer beautiful, pet-friendly private studios and one-bedroom apartments. There's no maintenance to worry about, and all utilities are included.

Our Assisted Living team will help you throughout the day with bathing, dressing and medications, plus personal laundry and housekeeping. Fees start at $3,500 and include three meals a day in our lovely dining room.

Memory Care

Juliette Fowler Communities is proud to feature the I'm Still Here approach to Memory Care. The only dementia care program in Dallas with this certification, Fowler's commitment to love people and pursue excellence inspired the adoption of this profound paradigm shift in dementia care.

To become an I'm Still Here Center of Excellence, the Fowler team participated in a rigorous six-month on-site training and implementation program developed by the Hearthstone Institute.  All team members in our memory car neighborhood, as well as many throughout our entire community, participated in training on Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, communication techniques, and life enrichment. Additionally, our memory care team experienced imbedded training with the Hearthstone trainers who worked with them side by side, demonstrating techniques and providing encouragement and support in their daily work. This training has created a team of true Dementia Specialists here at Fowler, as well as a Dementia Friendly culture throughout our organization.

Skilled Nursing

Juliette Fowler Communities offers a continuum of care with living options for people with wide-ranging needs from independent and assisted living to memory care and skilled nursing care and rehabilitation.

We're a five-star health and rehab community as measured by Nursing Home Compare. That means our ratings are much above average for inspections, staffing and quality. The U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services created the system to help people evaluate and choose rehab and nursing centers. Learn more about our rehab services.

You may need skilled nursing care for a limited time after an illness, injury or surgery and insurance will often help cover the costs if you've been hospitalized. Or you may need long-term residential care. Either way, Juliette Fowler can help.

As a skilled nursing resident, you'll be part of our nurturing neighborhood environment that surrounds you with encouragement and support. Choose a beautiful private studio or shared suite with granite and tile bathrooms, bright bay windows and access to landscaped courtyards. Housekeeping, laundry and all utilities are included.

Our Skilled Nursing team will provide around-the-clock care and help you with all of the activities of daily living. Fees start at $235 a day for shared and $267 for private and include three meals in our lovely dining rooms.

Rehabilitation

When life throws you a curve ball, short-term rehabilitation at Juliette Fowler Communities can help get things back on track quickly, safely and effectively.

After an illness, injury or surgery, our team of expert therapists is here to help. We'll work with you, your physician and loved ones to develop a customized plan of care that encompasses the whole person with physical, occupational, speech and language therapy. Together, we'll set goals that will help you rehabilitate, recuperate and return to the life you love.

Our supportive, caring environment includes therapy facilities that let you regain strength and confidence. In addition to a spacious rehabilitation gym, there are kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and outdoor therapy spaces that let you practice all of the activities of home.

Depending on your needs, you can visit for outpatient rehab services or make us your home away from home for inpatient therapy. As an inpatient, you'll enjoy outstanding accommodations and amenities.

Affordable Senior Housing

Fowler Christian Apartments (FCA) offers a variety of accessible, affordable housing options in three phases, Fowler Christian Apartments Inc. I, II, & III, all of which are HUD 202 Section 8 or PRAC apartments. As a resident, you will discover a welcoming living environment that offers choice, community, and connection through the privacy of an individual apartment.

FCA I, II, & III are unique affordable housing properties offering many different amenities including scheduled program activities such as social events, movies, guest speakers, volunteer opportunities, worship services, and scheduled transportation to doctor's appointments and grocery shopping.
