Harvest Pointe is a three-story apartment community specifically designed for older adults who are at least 62 years of age. There are 79 one-bedroom units and one manager’s unit. Eight of the units are handicap accessible designed to benefit the mobility impaired and the building is equipped for those who are hearing and/or visually impaired.
The community is located in close proximity to restaurants, retail business, churches, medical and dental offices, and public transportation.
Harvest Pointe features a community room with a party kitchen to be used by the residents for a variety of social, educational, and recreational activities. The two-story, tiled entry into Harvest Pointe includes a stone fireplace (on the 1st and 2nd floors) and provides a friendly environment for the residents to socialize. There are 4 common area outdoor patios (one with a BBQ). Raised brick planters are shared for seasonal gardening by residents. Also, a lovely gazebo to enjoy a view of the mountains and grounds.
There is a library for the residents to use along with a crafts room that can accommodate wet and dry craft activities. There is also a laundry room equipped with coin-operated washers and dryers and folding tables enabling the residents to do their laundry on site.
The management offices are located on site for ease of communication for the residents. There are supportive maintenance areas dedicated to the continued maintenance and operation of the community. There are indoor trash collection rooms/chutes on each floor.
The community has a “key fob” front entry system for the residents and an intercom system for the residents’ guests and family.
Each resident’s unit is accessed through interior corridors. The typical unit design provides one bedroom, a kitchen with a pass-through counter, refrigerator, & range.
The mobility impaired, accessible units have roll-in showers for ease of access for those residents in wheelchairs. They also have appropriate appliances, counter and sinks, and turning radius to meet the special needs of the mobility impaired.

Communities
RHF was founded in 1961 by two United Church of Christ clergy and a layman with a vision of providing quality housing and services for seniors. Today we are proud to offer the following services in 29 states:
Retirement can be the most exciting time of your life! Our Residential Retirement communities offer a variety of activities and accommodations to suit your lifestyle.
Assisted Living is a level of care, licensed by the state, that provides residents with assistance with various daily activities.
Personal Care Homes are one of several types of long-term care facilities in Kentucky and are licensed by the Office of Inspector General (OIG). Personal Care Homes provide basic health and health-related services, personal care services, residential care services, and social and recreational activities. These communities may help the residents “age in place” longer before a higher level of care may be required.
Skilled nursing is needed when you or your loved one requires a licensed nurse to manage, observe, or evaluate your care. Our nurses are compassionate and well trained, and they truly care about each resident.
Memory loss affects about ten percent of people over the age of 65. Our memory loss programs are staffed with personnel who are trained in the care of residents with memory impairment. This care is provided in a friendly and safe environment.
Our Respite Care Program is designed for individuals who, temporarily, need a watchful and caring environment because their home caregiver is temporarily unable or unavailable. We provide the care and attention needed while the caregiver is away.
The unique combination of Assisted Living and Affordable Housing can only be found at one RHF community – Park Place in Seattle, Washington. At Park Place, the City of Seattle and Retirement Housing Foundation has teamed together to offer an assisted living environment at an affordable price for lower income older adults.
RHF’s affordable housing communities for older adults are for those who meet the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) income and age criteria. This varies with every community. Please review our available locations and contact them directly to see if you qualify.
RHF’s affordable housing communities for families are for those who meet the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) income criteria. This varies with every community. We encourage you to contact the community of interest to find out specific requirements.
RHF’s affordable housing communities for people with disabilities are for those who meet the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) income criteria. Those who are mobility impaired may also look at affordable communities for older adults, a few units in the majority of those communities are open to those over the age of 18 and mobility impaired. This varies with every community. Please contact the community you are interested in to find out their specific requirements.
