HarborView Senior Assisted Living changed ownership in 2016 and is family owned and operated. We are devoted to providing a loving, supportive environment for our residents and their families. We provide 24-hour assistance, 7 days a week, in a 30-bed home in the beautiful neighborhood of Banker’s Hill overlooking San Diego Bay. This 1927 Italian Renaissance home offers unparalleled charm and beauty with a breathtaking view, luscious gardens complete with fountains, protected pathways, and an expansive patio overlooking the city. The modern amenities we have added to this historic property complement its past while increasing comfort for our residents and their families.

• We have trained staff available 24 hours a day to meet the needs of our residents. Our staff members are always accessible and eager to help. They are kept up to date on all current practices for Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly.
• Our trained staff and caregivers provide aid with dressing, bathing, navigating, and medication management. They are available to help our residents with whatever needs may arise and they are trained in emergency and medical situations.
• Harbor View offers daily physical fitness, as well as creative, social, learning and spiritual activities. We want our residents to feel at home and have a wide variety of exercises to choose from. • We offer gracious accommodations with a variety of floor plans. There isn’t just one uniform room here. Thanks to the old-world charm of our residence, each room boasts unique beauty and architecture. Our rooms offer different size and number of beds, as well as different bathroom situations.
• Safety and dignified care is of utmost importance to us, so we have a secured perimeter environment. Access is monitored by alerts to people entering the property, and a code is needed to exit, providing a secure, safe environment.
• We have a hospice waiver and accommodate hospice services. The care involves a team-oriented approach to welcoming their expert medical care, pain management, and emotional and spiritual support expressly tailored to the patient’s needs and wishes. Dedicated support is provided to the patient’s loved ones as well.
• We firmly believe that loved ones should stay together if possible. Harbor View welcomes partners to join their loved one in our living quarters. We offer rooms that accommodate more than one person for this very reason.
