Georgetowne Place

We also offer Assisted Living and Memory Care services and a restaurant that allows residents the freedom to dine on their time seven days a week. From thoughtfully designed floor plans to the world-class service and myriad recreational and social opportunities, residents may just find that we have thought of everything. Our spacious one- and two-bedroom apartment homes feature kitchens with full-sized appliances as well as washers and dryers. Lining our campus are 15 Independent Living cottages with picturesque landscape views and all of the amenities of the home. Imagine no cooking, cleaning, or maintenance and friends next door. That's Georgetowne Place, where housekeeping services are part of everyday life. The community boasts a heated in-ground pool, an exercise room, and a theater room with reclining leather theater chairs and a 65-inch screen, while the fireplace and computer areas are ideal for residents to intermingle on site.  Scheduled courtesy transportation allows our residents to explore Fort Wayne, the final resting place of American folklore legend Johnny Appleseed, and its many dining, shopping, and entertainment options. We also feature a full calendar of activities and social programs to offer our residents a rewarding, enriching lifestyle.

SERVICES

Georgetowne Place offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care services. Our residents have access to a choice of home health agencies. Depending on the level of care needed, our residents experience friendly, prompt assistance from our knowledgeable staff members. Among the services offered are additional housekeeping and laundry, incontinence care and bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance with 24-hour staffing available.

We thrive to make our Memory Care wing a unique experience for our residents and their families.  Our staff is specially trained to work with your loved ones based on their specific needs and individual strengths.  The neighborhood offers a beautiful, oversized courtyard boasting a great outdoor experience and our staff members will assist residents in producing their very own flower and herb boxes.  In addition, we offer some of the most unique activities which include The Daily Chronicle and Coffee/Juice, exercise time, hand massages, puzzles and arts & crafts, TV church services, and cooking class, and movie nights with popcorn, just to name a few.  Activities are tailored to encourage residents to participate and continue to be active in their everyday life, while the neighborhood provides a safe and secure home for them and peace of mind for their families.

Through our Respite Care program, we can assist residents in regaining wellness and independence. Respite Care residents enjoy a temporary, spacious apartment with access to all of a community's services, amenities, and features.
