While our residents enjoy the privacy of their personal apartment space, we encourage them to treat our entire community as an extension of their home. Our cozy family areas and private dining room are great for entertaining visitors, while our secure, outdoor courtyard is a relaxing place to bird watch.
Meals are also an integral part of life at Bickford of Overland Park with breakfast, lunch and dinner served daily in “The Bread Basket,” our community dining room. Our home-style meals are prepared fresh daily in our kitchen with menus created in partnership with a licensed dietician.
For the comfort and convenience of our residents, we take care of the housekeeping, linen laundering and changing, snow removal, facility maintenance, security, and transportation to medical appointments and group outings. Staff is also able to provide laundry services and pet care for an additional fee.
Our certified caregivers are available on-site 24 hours a day, seven days a week to monitor health changes and assist with life's daily activities, such as grooming, transferring and managing medications. A full-time Registered Nurse is also on staff to oversee all care plans and coordinate outside medical services as needed.
