Our Care Coordinators have worked with thousands of seniors across the country, and we're always ready to help you!
Senior housing can take many forms, including independent and assisted living communities, Alzheimer’s and dementia care homes, residential care homes (also known as board and care), and skilled nursing facilities.
An assisted living community for seniors provides care for persons who need some help with activities of daily living, yet who wish to remain as independent as possible. These communities bridge the gap between independent living and nursing homes. Residents in assisted living communities aren’t able to live by themselves, but they don’t require constant care either. Medical care is limited in an assisted living community and each state sets its own limits. Residents are assessed when they move into the community so the community can develop an individualized service plan to ensure that each senior gets the best care possible.
There are thousands of assisted living communities in the United States. The number of residents living in a community can vary greatly. Each community offers different levels of care and charges varying rates. The communities are all designed differently, from high rises to classic Victorians. Room configurations vary from studios to one or two bedroom apartments with kitchenettes.
Assisted living is appropriate for anyone who can no longer manage to live on their own but doesn’t require medical care. Residents may suffer from memory disorders, various diseases, or simply need help with mobility, incontinence or other challenges.
Given the choice, most of us want to stay in our homes. Sometimes, though, people need help to remain at home. That’s where Always Best Care Senior Services comes in.
Always Best Care in-home services are for people who prefer to stay at home but need ongoing care that cannot easily be provided by their family or friends. More and more older adults prefer to live independent, non-institutionalized lives, and in-home care is a safe, effective way to provide care in the comfort of one’s own home.
At Always Best Care Senior Services, our highly skilled team of registered nurses, therapists and home health aides are dedicated to making your home care as thorough and convenient as possible.
Your well-being and security are our highest priorities. Our nursing professionals can provide exceptional clinical care in nearly any setting.
Every home health member is fully licensed, bonded and insured.
A dedicated supervisor is assigned to each client, and the supervisor and your personal team of nurses, therapists and caregivers are professionals who are available 24/7 to support your needs.
Caring for a senior loved one can be stressful and exhausting, especially if the caregiver works a full-time job and juggles other responsibilities. Over time, caregiver burnout can result in diminished quality of care and even sickness from overworking. Respite care is a common solution to this problem.
According to AARP, over 53 million adults living in the U.S. provide care to someone over 50 years old. All too often, these caregivers experience stress, exhaustion, and even depression.
Respite care services give family members and unpaid caregivers a short-term break from providing care. This integral service, which benefits both seniors and family caregivers, can be arranged for a few hours or even a few days, depending on their needs.
