I had an amazing experience Arbor Terrace Greenbelt.Candice the concierge is amazing. She is very hospitable. DeNise the Egagemet Director is phenomenal! The programs are very engaging. They have a variety of activities, including, fitness, arts, dance, events, and learning new languages. There’s always something happening. The wellness staff is awesome. The new executive director, Darlene’s willingness to connect with the families, residents, and staff means a great deal.

Arbor Terrace in Lanham, MD has my highest rating and is an excellent choice for anyone seeking care for an elderly family member. The staff has taken excellent care of my Dad. In particular, Faye, Dominica, and Natalie (dining hall) have been incredibly kind, attentive, and nurturing to Dad. I give them my highest praise! Nicola and Joycelyn in the business office have been very supportive in helping me to manage the many options from a cost perspective to help me identify for Dad the best living arrangement possible. Bertha and Mariatu(?) have ensured Dad is getting the best health care possible and I am grateful for their help! And Mykel, the maintenance director is incredibly responsive to anything I ask to be fixed for Dad and ensures Dad’s room is in proper working order. Lastly, Candice and Renee always make me feel welcome upon arrival at the Lanham, MD facility and are a great “first impression” for anyone who first arrives to visit a resident.

I recently visited my aunt, who has been a resident there for the past three years, and I had the pleasure of experiencing DeNise, the Director of Engagement’s, Fitness Blast Class. It was absolutely inspiring. She had everyone engaged, smiling, moving, and truly enjoying themselves. What touched me most was when she encouraged everyone to celebrate themselves. The residents all began singing “I Celebrate Me,” and the moment was so heartfelt and uplifting that it brought tears to my eyes. Her passion, energy, and genuine love for the residents are truly remarkable. What an awesome experience! 💕

The staff at Arbor Terrace has gone above and beyond to make my father feel at home there. We've had a great experience with the level of care and communication from the staff, especially Bertha, Mariatu, Toinette, TreAna and Britany. These ladies really see the residents as family and are so patient and kind. It's so important to have this kind of trust as your loved ones age and our family truly cannot thank the team at Arbor Terrace enough!

Our mother, Julia Clark, recently passed away at the youthful age of 96. Arbor Terrace Senior Assisted Living, located in Lanham, MD, was her cherished home for the past 12 years. The amazingly insightful staff embraced her vibrant personality and welcomed her into their community. The activities/events director, Denise "Sparkle" Kirksey, understood our mother's strong desire for community service and provided numerous opportunities. Attending the many community events and serving on various committees provided our mother a sense of purpose and gave her great joy. Denise made sure our mother knew she was valued and that her contributions were most appreciated. This greatly lifted Mom's spirits. We have great gratitude for Nurse Mariatu's compassionate care of our mother. She frequently checked in on Mom and no request was too large or too small. Her consistency, patience and kindness was a source of comfort to our family. Overall, I highly recommend Arbor Terrance Assisted Living. The facility is beautifully decorated during holiday seasons, compliments of Denise who also coordinates and hosts a variety of events, seasonal and otherwise (outings, concerts, etc.) The list goes on. Mother greatly enjoyed the Luau dinner held last year. I would encourage you to visit Arbor Terrace to experience its warmth and vibrant energy which begins at the Front Desk with receptionists, Candace and Renae, two lovely ladies who know how to make you feel welcome with their tasty candy jar always full and available. Refreshing water infused with fruit is also always close by.
