My mother recently spent almost 2 weeks at this nursing facility. The administrator was wonderful and listened to our concerns regarding my mother’s care. The facility didn’t have a “urine” smell which was a plus but her room was nasty. The bed wouldn’t work as soon as we arrived so they had to replace it. The tray table slanted to one side and that had to be replaced as well. The furniture was absolutely horrid. The bed table had something spilt which was never cleaned up until I inquired a few days later. An assistant wiped it up which looked like spilled milk that had dried. The floor base boards were missing in places and her floor was never mopped what short time she spent there. The commode wouldn’t flush and she didn’t get a shower until several days after being admitted. For the price a nursing facility takes in. Their furnishings and room maintenance should be the best of the best. We had heard this was the best facility in Ky.. The best part is how well the administrator listened to our concerns. But the building itself needs desperate attention and remodeling.

Consistently excellent person centered care is given to each resident of this facility by the staff. What a blessing it is to have this facility to care for those who can no longer be cared for at home.

I have visited people in this facility. It is clean and smells GOOD. Not one whiff of a bad smell. I know folks who have been there over a year and they have high praise for the staff.

My mom was supposed to be here for a few weeks of rehab, that was in April, 2016. She was fine the first couple of days, then like the flip of a switch, she has not been the same, almost zombified at times, her attitude when coherent has went downhill, after some investigation of her med's, she was being overdosed on some of them, she has been a little better since, but still not my mom, In my opinion the staff are to enabling, they spoon feed her and baby her way to much! She's not an invalid, in my opinion the only reason why she is still in there is due to this reason. Now it's December 2016 and In my opinion she has become Pail and frail, no desire to do hardly anything. She is the type of person that will not do anything for her self if she can get some one else to do it for her, so basically no rehabilitation has been going on.
