Very secure for entry. Staffing very friendly but the rooms I saw were in need of painting and updating to make roommates more comfortable and guest friendly. They also need visitors facilities on site.

My sister and I were greatly saddened when our father wound up being four hours away from us. After our first visit, we knew he was in the right place, providing us with a great sense of relief. Winnfield was better equipped to care for him and didn't see him as a burden unlike his previous nursing facility and they went over and above to accommodate some special needs. Many thanks to the staff in all of the departments who made our fathers stay comfortable and peaceful, we're grateful for you.

My grandpa is so well taken care of here. The Administrator is always attentive to anything we bring to her and even answers the phone on weekends and at night. The last time I visited the administrator and her family were outside in the heat boiling crawfish for the residents. They have made many improvements inside and you can tell they have hired people who care about the people who live there. My grandpa always talks about how busy they are with activities and he loves the food. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place that actually cares in the Winnfield area.

This place is horrible. They neglected my mother there. They did not feed her, clean her, or anything else she needed. She was so dehydrated when I went to visit with her it was heart breaking. Now we are at the hospital in Winnfield due to their neglect. They were told about the situation. The Director of Nurses assured us she would be taken care of but lied. They failed my mother. I do not recommend this place. If you send your love one here they will end up in the hospital or dying. The place is very dirty. I wouldn’t send a stray dog here.

My spouse came here from a terribly abusive facility. He has thrived and says he is well taken care of. I understand they have a newer administration and they work hard to keep the place in check. I think they've done a good job so far.
