Choosing an assisted living community for my mom while living out of state was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made. From the very beginning, Windsong has exceeded my expectations. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure my mom feels safe, comfortable, and truly valued. I say “staff,” but my mom and I know each one by name, likewise they know every resident’s name and their likes and dislikes — that’s how personal the care is.<br><br>I especially appreciate the clear communication during her transition from living independently to moving into Windsong. Change can be overwhelming at any age, especially when leaving behind what’s familiar, but the team made the process smooth and reassuring.<br><br>It’s clear the caregivers genuinely care about the residents and their families, treating everyone with dignity and compassion. After touring several communities, I quickly saw that the culture at Windsong is different. This isn’t just a place that gives me peace of mind — it’s a thriving, vibrant community for my mom.<br><br>Windsong has given our family something priceless: peace of mind knowing we made the right decision. I’m incredibly grateful for each and every person who makes up the Windsong community.

Windsong in my opinion is the best senior living complex in the Bemidji area. The apartments are nice size and well maintained. The services, resident activities and available food options along with a professional/positive and outgoing staff separates WindSong from all others.

Windsong is a beautiful complex. The apartments are nice and well maintained. There are hot meals served in the dining room, or delivered to the apartments. There are nurses on duty to help with medications, check vitals, and provide help with Activities of Daily Living. (Eg. showering, dressing, etc.) There is a workout room, a hair salon, a sewing and craft room, a theater, a puzzle room, many rooms for gathering and playing cards and socializing. There are fun activities planed throughout the weeks. Most importantly, the staff are wonderful people, who seen to really love and care for the residents!
