My mother was in windmill for two weeks in March. She was supposed to be there for three weeks by the second week. My mother had gone downhill. She had bad sores on her bottom on the bottom of her feet for lack of movement. My brother brought it to the attention of the nurse or MA. Her response was my mother was not on the medical side, she was in the rehab side and that’s not part of their job duties. She said they should’ve put her in the medical side, my mother didn’t have bed sores when she went in , so that wasn’t necessary at that time, but anyone with common sense and has some kind of compassion would’ve contacted someone in authority to get her to the medical side where she could get treatments. My son visited on Sunday she had use the bathroom on herself. She had called for the nurses 45 minutes later the bell still ringing so he went to the nurses desk and told them my grandmother has been calling for about 45 minutes and still no one has responded to her, so he said to them does the Bell mean anything to anyone. and all he got was a look someone will be there in a minute the minute never came. My mother is on dialysis Friday morning came around for her to get ready for dialysis She told the nurse or medical assistant whoever she was she doesn’t do dialysis on Saturday so she didn’t need to go anywhere. She was confused. It was actually Friday but anybody with common sense and cares would’ve said no ma’am it is Friday. It’s not Saturday so it’s your dialysis day.instead they noted that she refused to go. They don’t care to do there job. If you want your loved ones to have good care this is not the facility for them. It’s the biggest mistake we ever made, never again.
