I had my mom here not once but twice! Once when she had spine surgery and once when she had knee surgery. Each time was great, the admission process is always challenging because as many do not understand or know the facility is unable to order medications until the resident is physically in the facility so pain medication take a little while but not because they don't want to bring it but because they have to wait for it to be ordered to even get it. Call bell response time is not the fastest but not because the aides or nurses choose to not answer them but because they are providing care to someone else most of the time. The therapy department was wonderful in helping my mom get back on her feet to go home 3 weeks after admission each time and she is doing great with ongoing therapy since going home. Couldn't have asked for better while she was there!

My mom has been here for 5 months and at least 3 times a week something happens and I have to complain. Tonight I find out she still has an IV in her arm with no bag attached for no reason. They tell me this is ok, I read up on it and it says after 12 hours with no bag it should be removed. She had the needle left in for 30 hours! I’ve tried to be nice and not ask for much but when my mom can’t get the help she needs, unless I ask for it, this has to stop! The nurse light stays on every time for at least 30 minutes and nobody answers the phones at night.There are a few staff members (Sierra & LeAnne) that show they care about there job but the rest of them sit in the hallways on there cell phones. The staff is constantly leaving. Willow Park needs to wake up, make sure these workers are trained and how to properly take care of our loved ones. Aaron tries his best to fix things and always helps me when I need something, but he’s going to get tired of it and leave like everyone else does. Please make this place better or shut it down. I’m tired of it all………..
