About Willis Nursing & Rehabilitation

Willis Nursing & Rehabilitation is a skilled nursing and long-term care facility in Willis, Texas, with a licensed capacity of 114 residents. The building itself is older, but families consistently describe the care and staffing as the facility's defining strength.

Most reviews highlight the dedication and tenure of the clinical and leadership staff. Families report that nurses and aides treat residents with genuine compassion, and that long-serving team members create a familial atmosphere. One family noted the staff is "clearly a team of professionals that care about their patients," while another wrote that their mother received care from people who "loved" her even after nearly a decade of residence. Families also praise the facility's cleanliness, the quality of meals, and management's responsiveness to concerns. The overall feeling visitors describe is "light, friendly and homely."

Some families have reported slower response times to call lights and occasional staffing challenges, particularly on weekends. A small number of reviews cite frustration with phone access and front-desk interactions. It’s an old building but the care that is given inside these walls are beyond the look of the building. The feel of the building when you walk in is light, friendly and homely. The staff is the extended family all the residents. The leadership team is easy to talk to and very welcoming. Some of them have been there for over 15 years this an awesome place with great survey results. Dad was here and the care given made me feel comfortable when I was not in the building it gave a peace of mind that all loved ones need when the have to make the decision to place family in a facility.
