We were really happy that our stepfather was taken care of so well. The rooms were clean; staff for the most part were friendly and helpful.

My family has been here for less then 48 hours and has two safety incidents one which required transport via 911 to hospital. Per the nurses the state has restricted their ability to provide safety measures that are routinely used at other facilities.

My father spent his final months at Wicomico Nursing Home, in the care of Coastal Hospice. Aside from being an older facility, I felt he received very compassionate care. He was placed in a private room at my request and most of his requests were honored as well, whether it be placing a birdfeeder in the window, or turning his bed so he could see a tree. Staff were very kind.

I was admitted to Wicomico Nursing home on January 1st, 2019 for rehab as it was not safe for me to be home. Initially, I thought "what kind of rehab will I get in a nursing home?" As it turned out, the rehab was the best. In fact, every aspect of the care I received was excellent. I think Wicomico Nursing Home should add "and rehabilitation" to their name as it is much more than what you might think. Kudos to every department of Wicomico Nursing Home and thank you for all you did to help me improve so I could be safe in my own home. There has been several news items regarding the possible closing of this facility. The county should do all it can to keep this remarkable facility. It would be a terrible loss.

My mother was at Wicomico Nursing Home in June 2016. I had checked the reviews online for a nursing home in the Salisbury area and chose this facility. It's an older facility, nicely maintained and landscaped, very clean and charming. My family was impressed with the friendly staff, efficiency and loving care my mother received. Thank you for making her last days with us a blessing of love and care. We were happy to have chosen your facility.
