I was an inpatient after knee replacement surgery. The care I received was wonderful. The physical therapy was amazing. I was treated with dignity, respect and a determination to get me better. I have already recommended the facility to a number of my friends who will be needing services.

P.T. was excellent. Nutrition was good but could be improved. The effort was there but I couldn't eat. All the staff did a wonderful job but Whittier needs to hire more great aids like the individuals you already have. They need help. Thank you all for you kindness & respect towards me.

Apologies for writing this so late. I was a patient from 04/05 to 04/19. I have nothing but good things to say about the care I received there. From the nurses, CNAs, PT, OT, even the food service.......everything was excellent. Kindness, patience, encouragement .....all so important to a person's recovery was an every day occurrence. Everything was clean and the personal hygiene care was excellent. The nursing care was so well done, there was never a wait time for pain meds, so considerate of the pain I was in. Even the food was good. I have no complaints. So thank you for giving me the care I needed. Keep up the good work!!

Whittier is a highly reputable acute rehab facility that deserves its reputation. If the whole country could run as organized and efficiently we would live in a bit better place. The personnel are dedicated, the atmosphere there is calm and relaxing. The facility is spotless. And I do believe that the personnel actually care about their patients. My mother was hospitalized there. We are very grateful for everything that they did for her. Do not even question your choice if you have a chance to be admitted there.

Overall I am pleased with my stay here. All the staff were for the most part were responsive to my needs . Even enjoyed the interaction with Dan in the TCU unit who was the activities person. Had 1 aide at night that was a little rough turning me in bed, but most aides were kind and gentle. Had 2 vaccines while here, but there was no note of them in my discharge papers. Pt and Ot were great. Food was ok. Would stay here again.The only issue I had was in the acute care section where staffing was sometimes limited and the wait to be assisted to the bathroom was sometimes long. Staff was always kind though.
