My Father had to be put into this Nursing Home facility and I can an will say they have truly done anything an everything in the Best interest of my Father nothing or no one is perfect by far but I can honestly say they care about there patients an the staff has been an is very helpful with my needs for my Father an his needs as a patient . Thank you WSS Nursing home for going above and beyond for the patients an there families it Definitely doesn’t go unnoticed Thank you

My grandfather was in this nursing home for just 20 days, and it was a terrible experience. He was often left unattended, sometimes for long periods. The staff seemed stretched thin, and there weren't enough people on the floor to care for the residents. He wasn't dressed properly, and he developed bedsores during his short stay. The staff didn't seem very caring or attentive. We even had to find his personal clothes ourselves because they weren't returned to his room. Family members were there every single day, and I can only imagine the poor care that the residents who did not have anyone checking on them regularly received. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

This is a nasty horrible place . Drs . Orders not followed . Gloves not being worn mask not being worn . Did not see any hand washing done . Resident care done at a very minimum. The facility smells really bad. Not clean at all. Told by staff the DON that they didn't have to follow DRS orders. Staff really rude. My mother will never ever be back there again. And I would suggest that no one send there loved ones there. I have seen dog pounds that was much much cleaner and smelled a whole lot better. My mother has missing clothes . She was not kept clean . Has a bad rash under her breast. The nursing staff was asked to shower my mother at least every other day . It was not done. She was dirty but not only her most of the residents looked untidy and dirty. So glad she is not there anymore. Nursing homes get about 13000.00 a month to take care of your loved ones it doesn't matter if it is private pay Medicaid or Medicare paid these poor souls sure are not getting the adequate care.

Not a good experience at all. My mother in law was sent here for physical therapy that they haven't started and it's been 5 days. When myself and others went to visit her she stnuk along with the nursing home itself. We requested for her to have a shower and it was finially done 3 days later. We were also told that they do not honor doctor ordered restrictions because she is her own person and can do what she wants. The restrictions are a crucial part of her care and is one reason why we have medical power attorney because she does not understand the importance of it. I was also told by the social worker that they would not contact the hospital to confirm the ordered restrictions.

So grateful for this special place!! It’s so hard to see those we love need to enter a permanent care facility but Genesis in WSS has been so amazing to our grandmother! She absolutely loves the staff, and we do as well!! They are prompt to meet her needs and to keep the facility clean and safe. Ultimately, when I hear my grandmother say to me that she is really happy there and that they are so good to her, that’s all that I need to hear! Thank you Genesis for your kindness and for your caring staff! We are truly grateful!
