I would stay away from this place. I made an appointment to tour, was barely acknowledged, let me waiting for 5 minutes. I left. They are in a very seedy part of town, the building looks tired, run down, built in 1970 and not updated. $8700-$9150 is the private pay cost. Stay away.

My father was in Respite for 7 days at White Oak Manor so that our family could take a vacation together in Chicago. One brother stayed behind and visited dad daily. Overall, we were very pleased. The staff, beginning with Ms. Bass in admissions, helped me through the process seamlessly. We toured the place prior to him coming to get a sense of the environment. Though it’s an older building, and they’re making improvements, the people inside made the difference. On the day of his discharge, my brother cited Ms. Mona as a very caring and personable individual. Dad’s boot on his feet and a wedge were removed, citing it belong to the facility. But, Ms. Mona put them back on him and stated that he needed to be comfortable on his 2 hour ride back home. It matters when you see those treat your loved one the way they should be treated. Thank you WOM. If we ever need services again, will definitely check you out!

White Oak Manor was the best place we found for my mom and dad! Mom already needed skilled nursing, and my dad only 'assisted living'. We were able to keep them together in the same room, and our wonderful nurses kept me informed of both of their schedules, as well as their mental and health status. White Oak went way above and beyond what we anticipated, and we love them all.... Ms. Celina, Ms. Angie, and Ms. Wilson were on our 2nd floor, and we couldn't ask for better!!! As I am a contractor, you may look at the facility and find falter in the old building, but the love inside is what your folks want and need!!! My sister and I looked all over Columbia; we reviewed Mill Creek, Brookdale, E-Harmony, and Pruitt... My parents loved being at White Oak Manor because they were cared for when my sister and I were not!!!

My good friend's father went in to rehab after I went into rehab at Brooks Rehabilitation in Florida. His experience was night and day to mine. They stole his pants, stole his snacks, gave him little to no attention, and he actually gave his wife his phone because he didn't want it stolen by the staff. He got so depressed and got little to no Rehabilitation. I believe if his experience was better, he'd still be here. They definitely dropped the ball on a great man, I also could consider a father. Don't allow your family to come here. They may as well be running a terrible hospice than a Rehabilitation center.

My mom was placed in Respite at White Oaks for eleven days. She enjoyed her stay. Staff was nice, friendly and courteous. Upon her arrival and in the process of getting her set up in her room for her stay, Staff from every Department came in and introduced themselves to her and to us. The Dietitian, Activities Coordinator, Housekeeping, Office Staff, Nurses, Nurse Technicians all the way down to the Patients welcomed her and us as we were preparing her for her stay. Ms. Annette is so genuine, I wish we could mold her and pass her out. She's a Blessing. Ms. Yolanda is totally awesome too. She handles her business very well and knows what she is doing and Ms. Mona will give u a cavity. She is so sweet. She's patient and caring. We felt at ease leaving mom there for a few days. She met so many friends. Thank you White Oak for a wonderful experience.
