The director of Westwood PAC needs to hire at least 10 licensed nurses so that there is always more than enough coverage for each person staying there. At least 5 licensed doctors on call during the day and another 5 licensed doctors on call during the overnight hours. Each room can have 1 or 2 beds so it could easily be 120 people in 60 rooms. The director is unaware of what the CNAs are doing on their shift and there seems to be 1 licensed RN none of them are on the same accord with each person staying there. For instance each CNA has no clue what each patient’s needs are and their dietary restrictions if any. Some patients have oxygen tanks, some have heart issues, some have prosthetics, some have cancer, some have feeding tubes, some have cerebral palsy, some have colostomy bags, some have tracheostomies, some go to dialysis etc. In a “nursing”home NURSES should be licensed and able to care for EVERY condition under doctors orders or else they shouldn’t be there! Patients are being mistreated! Some have no family to assist with their needs and make sure they are getting the best care. I am reporting this place to Georgia Department of Community Health and Georgia’s long term care Ombudsman! And you should too!

I think this is a wonderful place to be. I have been here since Nov of last year. And this is one of the best places that I have worked. The staff are very attentive the the resident. Staff treats residents just like family. I would most definitely feel comfortable bringing a family member here.

It's really not bad anymore!!!! It use 2 be terrible!!! The staff seems cool, the therapy department be on there job. The DON is really nice and understanding. The administrator is really nice also. Every time I go there my loved one is always up, clean and very happy.

A horrible place for your loved ones! I had a family member here and her treatment was absolutely horrid! Patients left in their own waste for hours and hours until a family member comes to help them. Staff screaming at dementia, bed-ridden patients. If you have a member of your family here INSTALL A LIVE FEED NANNY CAM WITH FULL AUDIO AND VIDEO!
