Westover Manor Apartments

Westover Manor is a subsidized housing community for seniors age 62 and older in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The community also welcomes mobility and sensory impaired residents of any age. Rent is income-based at approximately 30% of adjusted gross income, with the balance subsidized by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

The community offers spacious studio and one-bedroom apartments, with some units designed for residents with mobility or sensory impairments. Monthly rent includes heat, water, and electricity. Cable jacks are available in living rooms and bedrooms, and the building features one centrally located elevator accessible to all floors.

Residents enjoy an active social calendar that includes bingo, Wii Bowling, monthly birthday parties, and guest speakers throughout the month. A Social Service Coordinator is available three days per week to help residents access services that enable them to maintain independent living as long as possible.

The community is conveniently located close to shopping and downtown Cedar Rapids. Residents have access to one laundry center with coin-operated washers and dryers on the ground floor, and garbage and recycling facilities on each floor.

Westover Manor welcomes pets, including fish and birds at no deposit, and small dogs and cats with a $150 pet deposit (payment plans available). There is a limit of one pet per apartment, with certain size and breed restrictions.
