Wonderful Rehab Facility! My mom of 83 years had hip replacement surgery about one month ago and needed to go to in patient rehab and we tried this place. She had PT and OT five days a week ( Thank you Dillon and Michelle and others who worked with her) and the nursing staff ( all nurses and CNAs) were happy and helpful. I am grateful my mom got in this place for rehab because my mother in law had poor experiences last year at others in the area. After two and a half weeks, my mom got to return to her home walking better already than before her surgery. Thank you April and nursing staff for your positive attitudes and attentiveness. The Director and Case Management also helped us navigate the Rehab Care system. I know this seems overly positive, but when you have had questionable treatment in the past, you need to give credit where it is due.

My grandpa had a hip replacement and Westminster was recommended for his rehab. Do NOT have your loved one stay here. My grandpa would have died if my mom and my aunt wouldn’t have made them call an ambulance on April 15. They had him lying in sheets that were bloody and filthy. They had him in a wheelchair from the time he got up in the morning until the time he went to bed. His legs and feet were so swollen. They were not attending to his medical needs. The physical therapist were good with him, and two of the interns were good other than that, the staff ignored the residents needs.<br><br>Update to Westminster’s reply to my review above:<br>As a family member, I need to correct the misinformation in this response. No one from Westminster contacted our family regarding this incident. The first time my mother heard from Westminster was when she called to file a complaint. The second time was only after I posted my Google review, when my uncle received a call.<br><br>To date, no one has explained what happened, what corrective actions have been taken, or how this situation is being addressed. No one has followed up to check on my grandfather's condition or shown any meaningful concern for his well-being.<br><br>Rather than taking accountability, Westminster appears more focused on responding publicly than communicating directly with the family affected. The lack of transparency, follow-up, and compassion has been deeply disappointing.<br><br>Based on our experience, I would strongly caution families considering this facility. When your loved one's care and safety are involved, communication, accountability, and genuine concern should be the minimum expectation.

This is a marvelous community. The staff here do an exceptional job of making the residents feel like they are at a 5 star resort. The food, activities, and amenities here are incredible. Being a home care owner, I visit many communities and none in Lakeland compare with Westminster. Maria the wellness director deserves special recognition. She is unbelievably diligent about observing and tracking any health or care issues with the residents in assisting living. I would greatly recommend this community to anyone seeking a fun filled carefree retirement experience.

We want to make sure that everyone knows how awesome this place is. JB Brown our father was Giving extremely good care. Cindy was one of my dad‘s primary caregivers during his day and she went over and above to make sure his needs were met. We are very thankful and would recommend this place to anyone that has a loved one that needs care. Everyone was really good to us, but Cindy truly went above and beyond.
