Bridgewalk on Hardin is a nice clean facility that takes care of their patients I do want to give a shout out to a wonderful receptionist who is extremely helpful all the time. Her name is Jasmine Brutus. She's always got a smile and she always wants to help whenever she can.

I believe I had partially given up on life. I was feeling beaten. I recently lost the love of my life to cancer. December was a tough month. It was our wedding anniversary and his birthday. Then on Dec 30th. I had a very difficult day ending with a fall in my home. I fell on my face, but by the grace of GOD, I was not seriously hurt. I went into Bridgewalk on Harden for respite, which consists of a 5 day stay. Every single person was so eager to please. It was a very calming experience. I don't remember all my caregivers names. But they were all so caring. A resident could not ask for more. Tonya Fowler, was exceptional. She painted my nails. Her attitude and compassion, kindness and giving nature was so very comforting. She made me feel like I was queen for a day lol. I look forward to coming back. I feel like a new person. No longer the person that I was. Grieving is difficult but now I have a new lease on life.

My mom (Grace Welch) has been in this facility for about 4 years They do an amazing job taking care of her, she is always dress nice and the room smells good If I ever have any concerns about her care they are quickly to solve it And all the CNA’s work hard to make sure she is happy and loved CNA Darlene has been with my mom from day one and she always looks after my mom and make sure she is well taken care of. Thank you Bridgewalk staff for all the amazing teamwork you do ❤️

If I could give negative stars I would. As a Healthcare worker, the lack of care provided in this place is astounding. The final straw was the fact the my dad was covered in sugar ants one day and the lack of responsibility/accountability on their part was mind blowing. In the time I was there, never saw the DON. Nurse said " its to be expected with him eating sweets in bed" (hes on hospice) and promised to have the CNA to clean him up. I would NEVER leave MY patient in ants. Nevermind the fact that that day he had his lunch all over his gown ( it was 4pm) and a whole sweet potato behind his shoulder. His side table was always sticky ( I brought in Lysol wipes) and there was dried poop on the floor ( for weeks). But no, it was his sweets, not the lack of care of his hygiene and surroundings. He ended up in the hospital for concern of a hip injury after a fall, was there for 2 hours, still never saw the DON but the nurses on the unit had time to be looking at houses on their phone. IF you love your family member, find somewhere else.

The first few years my mom was in the facility the experience was not good at all. I am now pleased with the current staff and leadership at Bridgewalk on Harden. Things have improved greatly. Her level of care has enhanced, communication is timely, and she is more upbeat. Thank you to Katina, Niki, Dale, Chenita, Michelle, the activities coordinator, and receptionists. Because of your care and teamwork has made a HUGE difference.
