An absolutely fantastic continuing care retirement community, and it truly is a community. I would live there now, but they say I'm not old enough yet. Really an incredible place with every amenity. There are few other names that come to mind when you consider the range of services here. Of my many friends that have enjoyed, and enjoy, living here-all I hear are positive reviews. Have been lucky enough to visit for some special events and a few of their wonderful programs.

I reside in independent living at Westminster Canterbury, Richmond. It is a wonderful place to live!
I have found all-of the staff here to be friendly, very professional and are quick to correct any problems.
Westminister Canterbury offers its residents many amenities, such as six restaurants, a small, grocery store, a pool room, A fully equipped gymnasium, a lap pool and therapeutic pool. There are also a number of wellness classes and a nice gift shop. There are also several stores which sell jewelry, used furniture , clothing, and other assorted items. The facility also has a Full service bank.
Regular maid service is provided once a week. Garden plots are available at no extra cost. There is a Library, a cinema, a game room, and a very nice theater. A variety of classes are offered as well as off campus excursions.
There are other activities and amenities that I haven’t mentioned. I do find this to be a very vibrant community with lots of amenities and choices for recreation.
I have not personally had any affiliation with the assisted living, memory care, or nursing home facilities. However, all the people that I know who have had experience with these facilities, give them high praises.
I sure recommend this establishment for anyone seeking a quality continued care facility.

This is a wonderful inclusive community living environment. Everyone seems friendly and they genuinely seem to care about the elders who are in their care

My experience here has been less than favorable to say the least, when I first came here I thought this was an amazing place , then I started to see how lazy the CNA s are , the many broken cabinets in the kitchens, the fruit flies everywhere , the strong smell of urine or BM throughout the hallways , the filthy baseboards in the dining area ,, I mean it's just plain nasty here ,,I suggest the health department pay this place a visit!!!
