A very dear friend was a resident at Wausau Manor from November 2023 until her passing in July 2025. During that time, another friend and I took turns visiting multiple times every week. The staff was always professional and caring, demonstrating kindness and concern at every turn. I’m grateful for those who serve in this way!

Family member is there for physical rehab. Has had his call light ignored for up to 45mins. He has had to be hospitalized for a u.t i. from not being taken to the toilet and made to sit in wet underwear. Told to wait to use toilet because there is no staffing. Instead of getting better he is getting worse. Would recommend avoiding this place.

I stayed at Wausau Manor after A partial Hip replacement. The rehab ladies were so nice and caring. They got me walking. The nurses Chris, Hika, and all the nurses were loving, funny, I miss them. CNA were under staff. Sometimes Id wait 45 minutes or more when I needed them. All the girls were loving as well, would stay here again if needed.

My great grandmother stayed here for the last few months of her life. And I can truly say the staff was amazing and extremely passionate about their jobs and their residents. I was a little weary about letting her stay there due to a few bad reviews about it. But then came to the understanding that they are under new ownership now and are also hiring new staff members onto the team. I am so thankful i gave them a chance thank you for making her last few months comfortable. I strongly recommend this facility for your loved one's!
