Washington Heights

Washington Heights is a six-story senior apartment community in northern Hutchinson, Kansas, designed for residents 62 and older. The community offers income-based, all-bills-paid apartments with either one or two bedrooms, each equipped with a kitchen, central heat and air conditioning, and an emergency call system.

Located on the bus route with nearby grocery stores, shopping, and dining options, Washington Heights provides onsite amenities including a remodeled community room with a full kitchen for events and gatherings, a convenient onsite laundromat, and indoor mailboxes. The community features trash chutes on all levels and maintains a professional management and maintenance team with 24/7 emergency maintenance available.

Each apartment is finished with carpet, vinyl flooring, and window treatments. Residents benefit from the carefree lifestyle the community offers, with staff available to address resident needs.

Washington Heights allows one small pet up to 20 pounds, provided the pet is at least one year old. A $300 pet deposit is required, and documentation including vaccinations, photo, and signed pet rules must be provided. Certain dog breeds, including Pit Bulls, German Shepherds, Huskies, Rottweilers, Dobermans, Malamutes, Akitas, Chows, and Wolf hybrids, are not permitted.
