My daughter was entered into vpf on October 31, 2016. She is still currently there. I am absolutely DUMB FOUNDED by the lack of care and supervision provided there. My daughter is on the B1 unit where there is supposed to an RN and respiratory therapist there at all times. My daughter sustained a brain injury and had a crani done and needs to wear a helmet when she is out of bed. They transfered her to virtua Voorhees last night for a respitory infection and neglected to put her helmet on which could've seriously injured her. There's also been instances when I come up to see my daughter and she's had throw up all over her sitting for so long that it dried in her hair and gave her a rash on her stomach from it sitting on her clothing. I do her laundry at home and they've thrown used surgical gloves in her hamper multiple times. I also found a pack of sterile water sitting at the bottom of her hamper also. If you are looking for a facility for your child this is NOT the one to send them to by any means. The incompetence there is unbelievable. I will be taking my daughter out of that facility as soon as possible and I highly suggest that they put some better staffing inside their facility. Preferably people who actually care about the welfare of the children there.
