Alarms. So many alarms. I just finished a stay of a little over three weeks at Vista Real Post Acute. This was my first time at such a facility and my first few days did not go well, not because of the facility or the staff, but because of my disorientation and, to honest, anger. But after a few days where they dealt with me very kindly, I settled in. First, I want to praise the CNAs who work there. They are, frankly, angels, each and every one of them. While I was, I believe, an easy person for them to deal with, this was not true of many of the other residents. And yet, they seemed to remain serene and pleasant while cleaning soiled sheets, wiping asses, and, in one case I saw, a man who basically sexually harassed them. I saw them deal with some highly agitated residents, people who, because of their dementia, were really unable to be rational. But, in addition to the CNAs, everyone else was really wonderful. Really some of the most thoughtful people I’ve met. The staff happily made some accommodations for me by providing me with a wider chair (stolen from the lobby). One thing that could have made my stay here horrible would be if the food was terrible. Thankfully, I would say the food was pretty good and the menu was remarkable varied. And since I don’t eat red meat or pork, they were happy to substitute those items for chicken, though other options were available. I even got hot sauce provided with each meal. As for the alarms, they go off when a door to outside is opened and most people silence it immediately. But, with some of the residents suffering from dementia or those who are wheelchair bound don’t always do so and take a moment for the staff to do it. While I have no desire to ever have to be a resident at a skilled nursing facility, if I have a choice, it will be Vista Real Post Acute.

I am beyond grateful for the extraordinary care my mother has received at Vista Real Living with Parkinson's dementia and Alzheimer's can be incredibly challenging, but the staff here treats my mother with the utmost respect and compassion, making her feel truly cherished. From day one, it has been evident that the caregivers see her not merely as a resident but as a beloved member of their extended family. They make a concerted effort to cater to her emotional and physical needs, ensuring that every day is filled with joy and dignity. A beautiful highlight of her time here was being named the Valentine Queen of 2026. This thoughtful gesture not only made her feel special but also showcased the genuine love and care that permeates this facility. I can't thank God enough for blessing us with such a wonderful place, overflowing with grace and compassion. The dedication of the staff is a true testament to their commitment to providing outstanding care. I wholeheartedly recommend VISTA REAL to anyone seeking a nurturing and loving environment for their loved ones. Thank you, Vista Real, for everything you do!

Vista Real Post Acute care was an exceptional experience for me and my husband a veteran . The staff was caring and professional. His inability to to walk or stand for long periods of time was handled with care. The facility was clean and odorless. I just can’t express the joy and assurance I felt upon entrance. You could feel the love and care. Ms Flores and all the staff are to be commended for the excellent job they are doing. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Oh, one more thing hubby said the food was great!!

My mother was sent here due to elderly neglect from her previous home and needed rehabilitation. Since my mother has been here she has been shown nothing but compassion and wonderful care from all the staff. This building may be a bit older, but it is very clean. Everyone here is super nice and helpful. I am so sad that it only a short term care facility, as I would love be to keep my mother here long term as my mother seems happier and healthier. If you are looking for a caring facility for your parent/ parents, I highly recommend Vista Real Post Acute.
