We had a very positive experience with Visiting Angels during a tough time. From the very first call, Chantay was very helpful in navigating the onboarding process. The scheduler Deana was able to match us with a caregiver on short notice. And most importantly, our caregiver Whitney was amazing. She was caring, patient, and extremely helpful to both my mom and my grandmother. We are appreciative of the whole team and especially Miss Whitney. Thank you!

I retained Visiting Angels through the V.A. after a bad experience with the previous service. At first everything seemed great. But they sent me an older, heavier set, woman who has bad knees; not a problem if she can do her job. She did not follow the care plan on certain things, leaving me to do them. Then on Tuesday, April 21 she decided to sit down on a dining room chair, and use it to slide around to sweep and mop. This is improper use of a chair. You don't scoot on a chair like that. The protective foot broke off, and the nail on the bottom started digging into the floor. Something a normal person would be able to feel. The clear progression of damage made it very clear that it should've been felt until finally she tore through 3 layers of wood flooring and ripped a chunk of it up. I tried calling to let them know and they tried shifting liability to me, for "defective furniture" despite the furniture being in my family for decades, and we've used it at this residence for its intended purpose for 4 years with no issue. This upset me so I dug through the trash because I could not locate the plastic protective piece on the floor. I found it in the trash. As of right now, I have been ghosted for 3 weeks. I have given Visiting Angels 1 more week before retaining legal counsel. I have also informed the V.A. because it makes me wonder if they're doing this to a disabled veteran who has an advocate, what are they doing to vets without advocates?

I can’t say enough excellent things about Visiting Angels! Out of the gate they excelled at all they did for us … no one could have been better. Never having been in this whole situation with someone elderly before, I was hit with all types of new experiences and decisions, sometimes having to make last minute decisions, only hoping they were the right ones. Some were and some weren’t. Visiting Angels was one of the BEST!

It's been 1 full week having Mackenzie stay with my mom while I'm at work, and the difference in my mom is amazing! She is awake more during the day, so she's engaged and happy and seems less confused. She's eating more, and has put on a few needed lbs. Kenzie is so sweet and patient, holding Mom's hand and being reassuring. They had an outing to the nail salon, and that went really well. I cant say enough good things about our experience so far.

We have used Visiting Angels full-time for my wife, for about 3 years. Overall, the interaction and care has been very good. Occasionally, there has been gaps in coverage for lack of available substitutes, but nothing I cannot compensate for. We plan on using Visiting Angels.
