Timika Hamilton Had A great orientation with Amy. We were greeted with our favorite snacks welcome packets for Orientation. We Shared a lot of our favorite things we like to do like Hobbies, Goals, being and what it means to be a caregiver for visiting angels. Also Jason Assisted with Flexiable Work schedule and We had Fun while learning a lot about caring for a loved one and Being a visiting angels caregiver

We hired Visiting Angels to assist with care for my father when we brought him home on hospice. The entire team, Jason, Amy, Suzy, Dominic, Pamela, Dominique, and I apologize as I cannot recall all the names but every single person that took care of him were so kind, caring and thoughtful in his care and treatment. Not only that, they assisted our entire family being there to help us through our processing of my dad’s journey. I cannot thank the entire team enough. Michelle was great!! Not only did she tend to Chuck's physical needs, which can consume most of the day, she was able to interact with him on a level I have rarely seen. Despite Chuck being minimally verbal, Michelle quickly found some common interest and had him responding with specific memories and a few chuckles. Beyond all of that, this is the first time I have had an in-home caregiver who expressed support for me with thoughtful suggestions on how to do things a different way and shared ideas I had never thought of or heard about. She really lifted some weight off my shoulders and lifted Chuck's spirit... And now I know what it's like to be Blessed by an Angel!!

We can’t thank Visiting Angels enough for taking such good care of my dad as he journeyed to the end of his battle with dementia over the course of several months. We highly recommend this company to anyone who is needing help caring for someone they love. My dad’s care team included Paulette P., Antone E., Berthonise C., Serena K., Kendra G., Melissa D. and Carl G., who each enlisted their special gifts to provide my dad with what he needed. Not only did they take good care of my dad and treat him with dignity and respect, but they also came alongside my mom to offer her support, encouragement, listening ears and hugs, and developed genuine friendships that I have no doubt will continue although they’re no longer caring for my dad. As the owner, Jason’s communication skills were excellent, always keeping me updated and being open to troubleshoot and discuss options when needed. The whole team in the office was the same way. I never had to worry that my phone call wasn’t going to be answered or returned. It was such a relief to work with a company who followed through with what they promised. We appreciate all the help we got from Visiting Angels and I will be recommending them to anyone who asks or needs some extra help. To say thank you doesn’t seem like enough, but thank you for making a difficult and challenging time easier.

I can't say enough about Angela S and her experience with taking care of my husband. She often comes in to spend anywhere from 6 hours to 12 hours and is exemplary in her behavior and encouragement as far as he is concerned. He's always happy and smiles often when she's here. I have time to get errands run and things done that I would otherwise not get accomplished. Siu A. is another wonderful caregiver that I have had recent experience with. In her initial visit, she handled my husband as if she had known him for a while. She was gentle in her approach, both in her speaking to him and generally taking care of him. I was at ease with her from the very beginning and thoroughly enjoyed watching her work. I am very hopeful that she can return and work more shifts with him because of her initial success; she expressed that she would like to take care of him in the future. Needless to say, I was very pleased with both of these young women and with Visiting Angels! Melissa is another great caregiver that I am using through your agency. She is a very hard worker who has a terrific attitude and is very patient with my husband. She shows him kindness and respect and is always willing to try new approaches with him. I don't worry about leaving him for periods of time when she is here because I know that he will be well taken care of. Melissa fed him lunch today and he ate more than I've seen him eat in days as well as drank all liquid in sight! In addition, he was happy to do . I want to add another comment to Melissa's visits - she was successful today giving my husband a complete shower after several days of no showering and Dennis really seemed to enjoy the experience. Her patience really was an important part of this experience and I felt that she is an exceptional caregiver who really loves clients. Paulette : This woman is extraordinary in every way - she has become a dear friend as well as beloved caregiver for my husband. Paulette seems to be so intuitive as to what is needed for his care and works with him quietly but very effectively never causing him to get upset or nervous. I'm convinced this is a God-given gift - she is able to get him to talk which he has not been able to do as well as work with her. He "lights up" when he sees her come in to work with him. My family and I are so grateful to know Paulette and are blessed to have her assistance during this time with my husband.
