At this point they have over promised and under delivered to our neighbor who has requested, and desperately needs, this service. She has long term care insurance and can pay if needed - but no one returns her calls.<br>I met with the owner over a month ago and Jen seemed confident Visiting Angels could assist after our neighbors husband passed 2 months ago and, at least in the short term, needs short, daily visits to ensure basic needs are met.<br>Jen took notes and we assured our neighbor that in home care was available.<br>When I called Blair - the Care Specialist who is in charge of outreach - she couldn’t tell me anything about the visit or care established.<br>Our neighbor has contacted Blair a number of times - by text and leaving voicemails- and Blair doesn’t respond.<br>We understand - by word of mouth in the area - that Visiting Angels doesn’t have the staff needed to take on clients.<br>If Visiting Angels in Kilmarnock doesn’t have the staff needed- they should let potential clients know so we can find other alternatives.<br><br>Look at the low reviews - this organization responds inappropriately- attacking anyone who leaves anything but a 5 star review!!!

Wonderful experience working with Visiting Angels. We hired them to have a nurse accompany our wheel-chair bound father to a funeral. From start to finish, it was nothing but kind and professional support - on both the administrative side, and more importantly, on the nursing side. Blair and Donnie were amazing, and they worked with us on short notice to make a difficult day much easier. I would recommend 1,000%

My mother used Visiting Angels for the last 5+ years of her life. They did a fantastic job caring for her and she was very pleased with her care. Her primary caregiver for that period was Pam Shafer, who really did a top-notch job. Mom could be quite particular but that didn't bother Pam. They made many beautiful quilts during this period and my brother and I are very grateful Mom got to live in her own home until the very end. Thank you Pam and Visiting Angels.
