My husband and I contacted Visiting Angels home care for round-the-clock home help with our son who had been released from a final hospital stay after years of cancer treatment. He was in a very weakened state, but he wanted to spend his final days at home. We had moved into his house to undertake his care, but the two of us found we just could not manage it all. Visiting Angels turned out to be angels indeed. Working 12 hour day and evening shifts, the caregivers were extremely competent, experienced, and well-trained in handling a patient, but also willing and able to assist us, the family, with all the tasks and chores related to attending a loved one at home. All our caregivers, Santos, Genesis, Diamond, and Karen were kind, caring, and respectful. Santos and Genesis, having been with him the longest, developed a special friendship with our son, and earned our enduring gratitude. Bless you and thank you all for the work you do. Stephanie Dahl

We recently had to have Visiting Angel provide care for my father. Needless to say this was a new experience for us and the thought of having people coming into your house can be an adjustment. I have to say that overall we have been pleased with the people that have come to serve him. I truly believe that to be able to take care of others you have to be called to do so. That being said I wanted to take the time to acknowledge the wonderful job that Myra, who is on the Visiting Angels team. As one observing how she serves my father, she is definitely called, Taking care of one’s needs such as preparing meals, helping with laundry and other tasks can be quite a bit, she does them joyfully and is always looking for other ways to serve. I truly believe what my father appreciates the most is the conversation. Myra is very knowledgeable on many subjects and I would have to say her knowledge of sports is a bonus. They can talk it up which is good for him from a social aspect. It does my heart good to see how Myra takes great care of my dad and I know that he appreciates her and she enjoys being around him as well. My family also appreciates the job that she does and I wanted to make sure she was recognized for a job well done. Myra has a heart to serve, great work ethic and we are grateful for positive affect it’s having my father.. Thank you for the opportunity to share our experience.

Valerie, the Operations Manager at Visiting Angels Northeast San Antonio, is absolutely amazing. She is compassionate, responsive, and truly advocates for both her clients and caregivers. You can tell she puts her heart into everything she does and works tirelessly to ensure families feel supported and cared for. Her professionalism and kindness make such a difference during stressful situations. Visiting Angels is lucky to have her leading the team.

Visiting Angels Northeast San Antonio has truly built an amazing team. Valerie, the Operations Manager, is always professional, compassionate, and willing to go above and beyond for both clients and caregivers. You can tell she genuinely cares about the families they serve and works hard to ensure quality care. Sadie, their intern, is also incredibly kind, helpful, and eager to support the team however she can. It’s refreshing to see an office with such a caring and positive environment. Highly recommend this agency for anyone looking for dependable in-home care services!

This service is God sent. I've had my sister for 7 years and this is hands down the best I've ever had. From the director Letty on to her staff members like Valerie and Ashley they make you feel like family. I've had hiccups but nothing crazy and they handle situations so well, promptly and attentively. I cannot forget the best part of all...Catherine Gonzalez she's so wonderful. She doesn't just take care of my sister she goes over and beyond. My sister doesn't just have a provider she has a friend, and I'm so grateful. I would recommend this Visiting Angels location to everyone, it's hands down top tier care.
