As a Caregiver for Visiting Angels Horseheads, I can say, I am proud to be a member of this Care Team. We strive to provide the individual quality care that we bring to our Seniors, in which they deserve. I thoroughly enjoy getting to know our clients. Hearing their life stories and experiences is the beginning of a beautiful, professional relationship. This allows for us to fine tune their days filled with meaningful activities and conversations. I am humbled and grateful to be a part of their journey.

Visiting Angels is an amazing organization! They were very caring and professional and went above and beyond to help us care for my mom in our home during a difficult time when we were no longer able to care for her ourselves. They worked with us as we navigated the challenges and changes that occurred more often than we could have even imagined.

Visiting Angels is a wonderful solution for elderly people who want to maintain a degree of independence, but need assistance with activities of daily living and around the clock surveillance. The angels are not only companions, but they take care of many issues getting my mother-in-law to various activities making sure she socializes and gets out of her apartment. They keep the little apartment so need and tidy they do laundry. They check on supplies and food and things that she needs and maintain constant communication with us. so we always know what’s going on when we’re not able to visit . Without visiting angels we would have to put our loved one in a nursing home, but this is a much nicer solution. The combination of Appleridge and visiting angels is a win-win situation !

I could not be happier with the care and service the Visiting Angels have provided to my parents. All have been kind, caring and sensitive to their needs. I recently had an experience where I was out of the state and needed companionship and care for my father. All it took was one phone call and within an hour 4 different Angels were scheduled to provide 24 hour care until I could get home. They truly are angels who reside among us.

My elderly parents wanted to stay in their home and among other options in there area, Visiting Angels turned out to be the most effective solution to their needs. The aides, initially several to choose from, were all good at their service but my parents worked with Visiting Angels to arrive at the best fit for their situation. The aides have been very supportive and effective during their service roles. As their son, and living several hours away from them, I have found that working with Visiting Angels administration has been helpful and efficient as well and is as important as the Angels themselves. Thanks to all, I couldn't have done this without you. Steve
