I wanted to provide feedback regarding my recent hiring experience with your company. From the initial phone interview through the in-person hiring process, everything appeared professional and welcoming. However, toward the end of the conversation, I asked what brought the interviewer to the business as a way to better understand the company culture and environment. The response I received was that her personal life was irrelevant to the job and that I would be contacted if I was a good fit. While I understand maintaining professionalism, the interaction felt abrupt and dismissive. I believe reflection, communication, and representation of the company culture are important parts of the hiring process for both the employer and potential employee. I appreciate the opportunity to interview and simply wanted to share my experience for consideration moving forward. I would also like to include that this is not all visiting angles just the one in chino.
