My mom recently passed away and I don't know how we would have gotten through her illness and caring for her without having the amazing care from Visiting Angels. First I need to mention Sy, who not only coordinated the care, but always made sure we had caregivers, was understanding, compassionate, and really made me feel like my mom was in the best of care. She always answered my texts immediately and made herself available no matter what the situation was. I will forever be grateful to her. And of course our amazing caregivers. My mom had a few issues with the caregivers in the beginning. Having 24 hour care in her home was not easy for my mom in the beginning and we had to make some changes in the caregivers, but that is where Sy really shined, as she was so understanding and wanted my mom to feel comfortable with those in her home. Once we got our "dream team" of caregivers, I never worried once about the care my mom was receiving. Mariza, Marisol, Geraldine, Elizabeth, Sherri, and all the other caregivers who cared for her were amazing. They went above and beyond. On the day my mom passed away, I found a note left by Mariza, who was doing 12 hour shifts for us during the day. I still have that note and she let my mom know how much she cared, how much she would be missed. That note meant the world to me and it still does. I was an RN and while in college, I worked as a caregiver and know it's not an easy job. You become a part of someone's life and when they pass, it can be so hard. It's a loss that affects you. To Sy, I will forever be grateful to you and all the amazing women who helped us, and who are still helping my brother. I know we had a few bumps along the way, however we worked through that and I can't thank you enough for all you did. All of you hold a special place in my heart. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. The Weinstein Family
