7/2/2018 CNAs through Visiting Angels in Camarillo, except for one who was excellent, are either unqualified or lazy. DO NOT use Visiting Angels as their services are unprofessional. Caring for a non ambulatory elderly patient (our mother/mother-in-law) can be challenging, but if skilled, one would know how to care for one and be able to, at the very minimum, maintain the patient's personal hygiene. Her 69 year old daughter (our sister/sister-in-law) was able to get our almost 98 year old mother into the shower, wash her hair, dry her, and transfer her back into the wheelchair with no problems at all. When a CNA is not willing to do her/his job, Visiting Angels should look into it rather than tell us it is too much for the CNA and to look elsewhere for services. Caution to others - look elsewhere. Definitely would NOT recommend Visiting Angels, if you want compassionate, professional, or even basic care.

Visiting Angels did a terrific job helping my Dad (and then my Mom). They were very caring and had a lot of good ideas to help us through a difficult time. We definitely threw them some curve balls which they handled very well. I am confident that we couldn't have asked for a better fit.
