The food is not very good. And I would expect it to be better since it costs so much to live there a month more than most people earn in a year of work. And I think that the residents in the independent building should have their trash pickup up at the door daily like hotels do. These are residents in their late 80s to 90s . If a hotel can do they should at the very "high end resort living Rocklin Villas" But the staff are great .I recommend that the owner take a few tours of your competition to get a real feel for better amenities . Eskaton for instance has live entertainment on Fridays and Saturdays. They also offer which is consistent of pastries different types of coffees fresh fruit for the residents as wanted. 3/3/26 update on my review my client found a metal wire in her beef barley soup.

We love this place. The staff could not have been kinder to my dad when he was failing and they continue to be amazing to my mother. They create a fun and stimulating environment for the residents. When I walk in the door, I am always impressed that there is so much attention to detail in all their decorations no matter what season it is. Right now, the holiday decorations are incredible and uplifting. My mom's friends are all happy and they enjoy their activities together. Thank you to all the wonderful staff and leadership!

Would you call it Stonewalling? No one can argue that the Villas is a beautiful place. In fact, we were all set to sign the contract and have my mom be a resident there. Well, until I was told by the Sales and Marketing (S/M) gal “LMM” that something my family said at the invitation lunch “made the staff feel uncomfortable” and the Villas decided to pass on having my mother move in. I have asked (many times) for an explanation as to exactly what made that staff member “feel uncomfortable” but have been ignored. I left a voice message on the Director’s voice mail “GT” - silence. I have asked the S/M gal “LMM” via email and voice for some kind of explanation - silence. Is stonewalling professional? All I can do is guess at this point. Perhaps it was the fact that we asked the young server what she studied at school? My review is that if you decide on the Villas, be aware that if your loved one isn’t up on the norms of the young generation (ie don’t ask too many personal questions) they might be accused as making the staff “feel uncomfortable”. Having said that, they did us a favor as we found a better place in the area.

With how expensive and nice this place is, you would think they could afford a receptionist to answer the phone when people call. What if there was an emergency and we needed to get a hold of one of the residents? I've been trying for over an hour now, several times, with no answer. Not to mention, one of their automated system prompts has an incorrect phone number (#4). That being said, I am very impressed with the place itself and the staff. it is very nice.

Okay my name is Joan and I just want you guys to know if you know of anyone who wants a nice place to live get awesome care for your loved one then this place is where you want them to be it is so awesome I mean it's amazing the staff is awesome their kind polite I watch the place being built from the ground up and let me tell you if I was 70 and had money tbis place will be my home all they need now is slots machines LOL but no really honestly I thought I was in heaven when I went in there it's so awesome oh my gosh I've never seen a place like that's like a five star resort but like I said if you want any of your loved ones to be taken care of in a good and clean and nice atmosphere with friendly people and staff then this is where you go honestly the one where my live I'm sorry to say the Pines they don't care that is want the money I don't mean to rag on them but I I don't get it I'm glad a lot of them are moving from their over to the Stanford Ranch Assisted Living cuz that's the best place to get the love and care you want and thank you Benjamin you know what I'm thanking you for I don't want to say it but you know what I mean thank you it was delicious LOL and you got an amazing staff if I could rate it a hundred I'd rated a hundred stars set of a five-star I'd give it a hundred Stars okay I'm done just remember if you want your loved one to get the best care in the world the Villa at the Stanford Ranch is the best
