After a year and a half of calling Village at the Falls home, I can honestly say that what makes this community special to me is the people who care for us every day. ❤️<br><br>From management to the kitchen staff, maintenance, and housekeeping, I have experienced kindness, compassion, dignity, and respect. Yes, there have been challenges—as there will be anywhere—but through those challenges, I’ve found staff members willing to listen, help, encourage, and sometimes simply show that they care.<br><br>As seniors, sometimes it’s the little things that mean the most—a smile, a kind word, someone remembering your name, or taking a moment to ask, “Are you okay?” Those things matter.<br><br>A building gives you somewhere to live, but caring people help make it feel like home. Great staff, nice building, warm community. This is a place I would highly recommend for you or your loved ones seeking to downsize, especially if they want a quiet area with some nature that’s still close to Milwaukee.<br>The activity schedule is solid and the staff cares. They get to know the residents and so they really try to encourage people to participate who might be more hesitant—but without being pushy. The neighbors (some of whom also reviewed this place) are a fun and really kind bunch.<br>On the practical side: There is covered secure parking and the price is really fair for all that’s included (utilities, cable, 3 meals, fall monitor).
