My father had been a resident at Vernon Springs for 4 years until we lost him last week. We loved everything about Vernon Springs from the management, to the caregivers, to the chef who prepared him 3 meals daily. I highly recommend Vernon Springs.

The team at Vernon Springs goes above and beyond. During a very difficult time for our family, Vernon Spring's caring staff has worked to ensure that my mother is well cared for in a safe and loving environment. It may not be the biggest facility, but it is the best as far as I am concerned. HIGHLY recommend.

Vernon Springs is an absolutely wonderful choice for your elderly loved ones. Residents are well taken care of. The owner and the staff are all very responsive to the family members and to their clients. Honestly if you go in there often enough to visit your elderly loved one you will start to get to know the other residents and a lot of the people who work there and they all start to feel like family. It's a really nice environment.<br><br>It's also a beautiful building that has gone through extensive renovations recently. There's no institutional feel to it at all you wouldn't even know you were in a residence for elderly people when you walk in. It's just fresh and elegant and very clean.<br><br>Regarding healthcare there are healthcare professionals that come in to treat people but they also make it very easy for you to have your loved ones see any doctors in town.. Their shuttle service organized by Jennifer is most appreciated and very flexible. The caretaking staff, run by Zukeysha and Rachel, offers medication management, attention to catheters, and other healthcare maintenance needs..<br><br>In a discreet way they provide living accommodations for people who just need a little bit of help (larger apartments) or who need a lot more attention (first floor studios) or who require memory care (completely renovated garden level) Everyone has their own space and yet they blend together beautifully.<br><br>They also bring in at least two different hairdressers to make sure everyone stays stylish. They are fabulous and very talented. We are most familiar with Greg.... He does great work!<br><br>Curt the manager is extremely available to talk about any issues. His door is almost always open and he is ready to chat with any family members or residents. If there is any issue overnight or on the weekend he is literally just a phone call away.. We are very happy to have him running the place.<br><br>Jennifer and Michelle run the front office and one of them is always available to deal with any questions or concerns.<br><br>Sy works in the kitchen and she is devoted to making sure the residents all have whatever particular foods they want. I have seen her repeatedly visit with Mom to give her her special yogurts and fruit and see how she is.<br><br>Cassandra is the activities director. She is just fabulous. She goes out for walks with the residents, organizes outings, activities and performances, and makes her rounds each day bringing joy and laughter to each person.<br><br>When we had a medical emergency, it took all of 3 minutes for at least five staff members from various parts of the building to immediately help us. I was overwhelmed by that much support.<br><br>We love Vernon Springs and we are very happy with our choice.

Amazing staff & hospitality! I had no problems communicating with the staff and they made sure to meet my needs. Maintenance is always on top and taken care of. Staff takes good care of my grandma and makes sure her meds are taken. Curt is always willing to listen and help as well. I highly recommend Vernon Springs Senior Living.

My family and I could not be more thrilled to have our mother at Vernon Springs. Not only is the facility so warming and a beautiful space, but the staff is 5 star. We have been blown away at the level of care they have for our mom. Jennifer has been over the top in staying in touch with us as things arise. She truly shows that she personally cares for their residents. They check on our mom to make sure she's coming to meals and even if she gets distracted, they come back and make sure she'll make it. They're there to give her the meds she needs when she needs it. They are so gentle in the way they interact with her, we are just so appreciative. The activities, art, yoga, bingo, movies are all our mothers favorites. She's had such a good time getting to know everyone, making new friends and settling in to her beautiful new home.
