I have always loved Valley View I left a few years back to travel but found my way back home. The Management is just great. I returned to open arm. The residents are so kind and treat the staff as family. I never bring lunch because I look forward to the delicious meal. There is no place like home (Valley View)

I have a soon-to-be 92 year-old friend that has lived at Valley View for several years, first in independent living, and now in assisted living. I cannot think of a better place for my friend to reside! The facility is always impeccably clean and the grounds are gorgeous. The dining area looks more like a nice restaurant than a retirement facility, and the food is always delicious. While these points alone are great reasons to have a loved one live there, they are nothing compared to the staff. Everyone that my friend (and me) has interacted with, including front office staff, housekeeping, maintenance, foodservice, transportation, nursing, and activities, has always been courteous, professional and very caring. My friend tells me all the time how happy she is to have moved there, and that makes me happy too!

Valley View is a wonderful facility, the grounds are beautiful and the interior is well kept.<br>The staff are always willing to listen and give each person their undivided attention when needs arise.

I have been at Valley View for almost 24 years. I work in the hair salon and I have a lot of interaction with the Independent and Assisted living residents. They are very happy living at Valley View and look forward to the activities and entertainment.<br>When you come in you are always greeted by smiling faces. We are like family here, the Management and staff are great and I would highly recommend Valley View to anyone looking for a place to call home. You will not be disappointed.

Valley View is a very well run community that has cared for friends and loved ones of mine for decades. Anytime someone I know enters this community, I know they will be well cared for and warmly received by staff and residents.<br>Any business that cares for people so well has earned the trust and loyalty of the Lynchburg community.<br>I have recently visited with the thought that my grandmother may reside there one day soon. I was warmly welcomed by the Activities Coordinator- a spunky red head who loves her residents! Even though she seldom spends this much time with family of potential residents, this lady did an amazing job helping me understand what my Nannies life could be like here. I was not given a sales pitch; this lady listened to me and really shared information. She answered all of my questions and shared important things I did not think to ask. Just seeing her interact with residents and other staff was great! These folks know how to treat people! I wish I remembered her name, but I will never forget the great impression she left me with last week.<br>I read some recent reviews and one in particular disturbed me. As I read, it was clear that the writer was angry and seemed to be fabricating what was stated about the place. I have prayed that this person will get some help and healing for whatever is bothering them. I don’t think it’s Valley View. If even a fraction of what was said was true, the place would have been shut down by family and friends of residents. Sadly, there will always be reviews and people who wish to slander those who do good in this world. Please go see for yourself. Talk to people who live and work there and people like me who have experienced Valley View personally and through others. Then you too will know what an assett this community is to our city.
