During a rough time for our family and a time that no one had planned or prepared for, the team at Vale Healthcare Center helped guide us when we needed it most. Maxine was exceptional from the very beginning being caring, attentive, and incredibly supportive when we needed guidance the most. She helped make a complicated process feel manageable and was always available to answer questions and keep us informed. What stood out most was the genuine care shown by everyone at the facility. The staff treated our family with so much care each day and helped make the situation much more manageable. It was if the staff was caring for their own loved one. We’re truly thankful for the professionalism and kindness we received throughout the entire stay. I would not hesitate to recommend Vale Healthcare Center. Be sure to ask for Maxine to help with any questions or planning you may have.

Their Director of Nursing, Miss Carter, is so incredibly rude to sick patients and their families. My mom was sent here to receive IV antibiotics for 3 weeks and had to be transferred out in less than 24 hours. The quality of care is terrible. The nurses couldn't tell me when the last time she received her antibiotics! The staff were speaking badly about my mom in Spanish not realizing she understood them. There are no phones in patients rooms and it's very hard to get a nurse to bring the phone they have available to the rooms. This place was more like a prison or a psychiatric ward than it is a skilled nursing facility. Avoid bringing your loved ones here. P.S. When her boyfriend called to speak with her they immediately asked him if he was a lawyer....why would they ask that?

From the moment we met Maxine in the hospital, she made an overwhelming situation feel so much easier and more comforting. She was compassionate, knowledgeable, patient, and truly took the time to answer all of our questions and guide us through the transition process. Her communication and support gave our family so much reassurance during a stressful time. Transitioning to Vale Healthcare Center was smooth and seamless thanks to Maxine and the amazing staff. We truly felt our loved one was in good hands every step of the way. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of our family friend during their stay. The kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism shown by everyone meant so much to our family. We would absolutely recommend Vale Healthcare Center to anyone in need of skilled nursing or rehabilitation care.

We have been trying for weeks to get someone who is ready to leave discharged. It's impossible to reach their social workers as this is the only way to get them out. It's been over 2 weeks of trying to reach the one social worker. She is not always there, or in meetings, or some other excuse. Makes me wonder if the inaccessibility is just to keep the place billing insurance...

If you love your people don’t send them here!!!!!!! These horrible people almost killed my mom! She was there 9 months went in for physical therapy, & left with a broken hip!? Hate this place! Nothing professional! They need to be closed down! Smoking drinking outside the facility, cnas come to work to have fun & not their jobs! Just overall terrible, everything about it!!
