They didn't watch my friend until she almost died. Plus took her out to Annie Penn Hospital because they thought she had an appointment. She was in the waiting room at the front desk for an hour before anyone noticed. Myself and my son walked in the facility and only one person noticed we where there after i asked a question. No sign in sheet!! Not happy with this facility at all.

This is a one star if that facility. I was told it was a 5 star. Then once my mother was there I found it was anything but a 5 star. Very shotty place

Nurses - 75% Were Very Nice! CNA's - Were all great even when they were short staffed Food - Came from the hospital! It was HORRIBLE in the hospital and HORRIBLE in there. Some days they would at their discretion just mark off stuff on your meal list and you just didn't get it or a substitute! Physical Therapy - Was a joke and one end of the Therapy Room was nasty! It looked like someone had thrown up and someone had mopped it around up on the wall! My Home Health PT had me back to 100% in 2 weeks!!!!!!! NO I WOULD NOT GO BACK THERE!l

My Dad was there, some nurses were friendly and some downright hateful. Some have a good personality and care about themselves and others are just there. My Dad was having a stroke and I told the nurse something wasn't right with him, she came out of the room and said he is mumbling and went and Sat back at the desk. Did nothing. Some will come and change the patient and some will wait awhile. Wonder how they would like to sit in poop? Showers are not given on a regular basis. If they could get by without it they would. The food was not good. A big waste of that because patients aren't eating it

Being a patient here for skill nursing rehabilitation, I’m currently pleased with the level of care and understanding I’ve observed and received for myself and couple other residents around me I see/hear daily. Ironically I’m posting this as a view now being placed in position as a daughter of a mother whose currently in a skill facility and has been for years. Background, I travel back & forth coast to coast help track her care. Now being here for my own medical rehabilitation needs, I somewhat get a glimpse of what it’s like having to stay for medical help versus being that family member visiting. With that said, when I give this review, I’m speaking solely from being placed on the WEST side of this facility. What I’ve observed has been nothing short of being good. Some people may not realize that throughout our country there’s shortages of medical staff to provide care for our love ones. I’ve seen many skill nursing residents when visiting my mother through the years lack family involvement to be implemented as part of their health care / treatments while at facilities. I am pleased on the level of my care and support I’m currently receiving while staying here. I am a very observant. I personally give appreciation to all the staff here that attend to provide their best support to myself as well as residents surrounding me. The nursing staff have been very caring, professional and understanding to help provide the best level of care. As mentioned , I’m located on the WEST side. I believe there are few residents with dementia nearby my room. Can’t confirmed. I personally love to give shout out to the Occasional and Physical therapist team here at UNC Rockingham Skill nursing Rehabilitation. Shout for their team work. Their dedication to coordinate as a team to provide the best suitable personal care plan for me so I can progress fast as I’m able, provides me comfort for hopefully speedy return to home on west coast. The CNA’s and nurses I encountered on my current stay here are attentive to my needs, understanding, caring and compassion. I like to acknowledge CNA Mackenzie, nurse Brandy, Lovely Roxanne and Candace for night shift who I’ve encounter the most since my placement. They truly deserve to be recognized in my eyes as i feel they truly helped me remain calm positive. A++ The staff speaks politely and kind to those around I’ve seen and to myself. My stay is schedule as short term level stay. Being here does make me homesick when you’re injured, need medical care, delay unable to check on my mother as planned. I’m hopeful I will receive amazing treatment to become on the road to recovery to return to normal. From years of seeing and dealing as a daughter of a mother always in either assistant or skill nursing facility resident, it changes one’s perspective of how things are run when you’re on the inside. I would like family members to know of residents here, I can hear and see it’s truly a job caring for residents here. I have not heard nor had directed towards me any disrespect. I can see it’s not an easy job caring for different level types of medical needs here and I would want families of residents here, who may not realize some of your family members can be challenging but please give credit and faith to the workers here who work 12 hour shifts day in day out to care for you love ones. Imagine if you chose or could care for your love ones at home, do you think it would be an easy job? Just my own thought and feelings. I’d love to be in a position to provide the best care my Mommi needs outside of a skill facility but it’s beyond my scope to provide that level of care needed. So next best thing is to be actively involved regularly visitation and engaged with the medical staff on her care plan. I’ve seen many who judge facilities not providing acceptable level of care and only visit their love ones rarely, like holiday/birthday etc.. consider being more involve and if you have concerns please create communication with the staff and facility. Prayers to all. My heart goes out to those place in
